I am not sure about that one, as the improvements done in those two issues where quite postgres specific (note: and didn'T exist in 2.50 at all )

Thanks, however one crucial piece of information would be needed to check: Does the same problem still exist in either latest 2.40 or latest 2.50? Could you find some time to find out?

as you mentioned you are not running the latest available 2.40 code and your problem description reminds me of two issues i fixed some time ago for the 2.40 branch.

Both of them adress slowness of some of the wad-generated queries on postgresql >=8.3 on openbravo 2.40 in generated windows.

Can you please either update the instance to a later MP (if possible) or try out the patches/commits done in this two issues to see if it helps with your problem?

You were right that was the problem, instead of creating a callout I created a servlet and I've even associated process which in turn is associated with a button and now I work.

Another question I have surguido once solved the problem is how do I get the data written on the screen when you press the button on the java class?

We put in context: I am creating a module with the application of dictionary that I created a menu with their respective window and associated table. When I create or modify any of the records in the table have a button which when pressed I called the class (already solved the previous problem).

I need to use the information in the fields shown in the window by pressing the button on the java class.

I thought two possible solutions:

1st) get me into a file and make the consultations NameOfClassJava_data.xsql to the table created in postgres.

2nd) get me into a Java class associated with the table to work with classes OBdal and OBcriteria.

These are the solutions that I believe can be the best solution. What would be better? or is there another possible solution.

• Sourcedata: these contain the data for the Openbravo Application Dictionary (tables, columns, windows, fields, menu entries, ...). They are updated every time the task "ant update.database" is done.
• Sourcedata/referencedData: these contain data which is referenced by the Openbravo Application Dictionary tables, such as Ad_User, Ad_Client (the System client), and Ad_Language. They are installed at the beginning, when the initial ant install.source is done, but afterwards, they are not updated.
• referencedata/standard: Here you can find the data file for the Masterdata dataset. The Masterdata dataset contains data which is useful for every Openbravo instance, such as information about countries (C_Country), currencies (C_Currency), or Units of Measure (C_UOM). The content of this file is inserted at the beginning, when ant install.source is done, and afterwards it's not updated.
• referencedata/sampledata: Here you can find the sample data for initial Openbravo instances. This file contains the "SmallBazaar", or the "BigBazaar" client, depending on the version of Openbravo you are using. This is a sample client, which is intended for demo or evaluation purposes. It is inserted at the beginning, on install.source, but afterwards it's not updated.

Cause I have the same when I want to create a new tab in an existing window.
