User Manual
Installation
"IMPORTANT NOTE:" This module is only available for 3.0MP2 and up.
This module can be only installed/updated from Openbravo Subscription active instances that have an active license for this module. Only the System Administrator can install this module.

Consignment Warehouse - View larger
For existing clients in the system, an extra step to install the reference data of the module is required.
Logged in as client admin, go to: General Setup > Enterprise > Enterprise module management. Select organization '*' and check the module Consignment Sales Management. Click on 'OK'. This will install the Document sequences needed by the module.
This step is not necessary for new clients, as this reference data will be install at Initial Client Setup phase (performed by the System Administrator).
Consignment Sales Management Setup
Warehouse
- To handle consignment goods movement a warehouse needs to be setup.
- Go to “ Warehouse Management = > Setup = > Warehouse and Storage Bins “ window.
- Enter a new record and fill details with 'Consignment Warehouse ' as Warehouse Name and Location as you need .
- Check "Have Consignment" option to enable Consignment.
- Save the record.
Note : 1 ) Consignment Warehouse should be in Inactive to avoid direct usage in Sales/Purchase transactions.
2 ) Only one Consignment Warehouse should be available.
Customer
We need to enable Consignment option under Customer for handling Consignment sales process.Consignment Warehouse depends on customer location and it's possible to enable consignment for specific locations of customer.
- Go to Master Data Management -> Business Partner
- Choose any Customer have consignment (or) Enter a new record and fill details
- Check "Have Consignment" option to enable Consignment.

After navigating to the business partner tab as explained above,
- Create a new record by clicking on the new button.
- Enter the name of the consignee (customer) in the Commercial name field, say, 'Spencers Daily' and also enter the search key value as 'SD Departmental Stores' without quotes.
- Select the Business partner category as Customer.
- Make sure the record is active and Have Consignment check box is checked.
- Click on the Customer tab and check the Customer check box and save the record.
Customer Location/Address

- Go to Master Data Management -> Business Partner -> Location/Address
- Choose any Customer Location have consignment (or) Enter a new record and fill details.
- Check "Consignment to Address" option to enable Consignment.
"Known Issue:"Consignment to Address option is not shown.Make sure "Have Consignment" option checked in Customer.

After entering the Business partner details, click on the Location/ Address tab.
- Create a new record by clicking on the create new record icon in the tool bar.
- Enter the location of the customer that was created ( Spencers Daily).
- Give the customer location a name in the Name field (Spencers Chennai).
- Make sure the record is active and Have Consignment checkbox is checked.
After the Location is created, to make sure the basic setup is complete, navigate to Warehouse and Storage bins.
Click on the warehouse that was created (Consignment Warehouse). Navigate to the Storage bins tab. A Storage bin for the above created business partner is created. (Bin name- Spencers Chennai). Creation of a storage bin for the business partner marks the sucessful completion of the inital setup.

Consignment Fill-up
Consignment Fill-up consists of two process,
- Consignment Fill-up Order
- Consignment Fill-up Delivery
Consignment Fill-up Order

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Fillup -> Consignment Fillup Order
- Enter a new record and fill details of Organisation,Order Date,Customer and Customer address.
- If needed,add more information of Sales Representative,Description.
- In lines section,add product and quantity.
- Verify record and click Book to confirm order.
Advantages
- Customer and Customer address displayed based on Consignment set up.
- It's possible to Reactivate order,if it's not delivered.

Please refer to the Product Setup Manual for guidance on how to set up products in Openbravo.
With the aid of the manual create a product as 'Super White Detergent Powder' without quotes.
In the Consignment Fillup Order tab,
- Create a new record by clicking on the new icon in the tool bar.
- Select today's date as Order date.
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the customer drop down box.
- The Customer Address field auto-loads based on the customer selected.
- Save the record.
- Click on the lines tab.
- From the Fillup Product drop down box, select the product (Super White Detergent Powder) that was created.
- Enter the Quantity, say 1500, in the Fillup Quantity text box.
- Enter the Unit Gross Amount as 12 per unit and the Total Amount is calculated automatically.
- Save the record.
- Click on the Consignment Fillup Order tab. Click on Book to trigger the process.
- Once the process is successful, a success message is shown and instead of book, reactivate button is shown.
Consignment Fill-up Delivery

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Fillup -> Consignment Fillup Delivery.
- Make sure any fillup order is exist by of searching based on Organisation,Customer,Location.
- If needed,use Date and Document no to filter records.
- Verify order and fill issue date and issue quantity based on stock available in Warehouse.
- Confirm and click process to proceed.
Advantages
- It's possible to consolidate fill-up order based on customer and customer address combination.
- Warehouse selection pre-filtered based on stock availability of selected product, to avoid "Unavailable stock" error during process.

In the Consignment Fillup Delivery tab,
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the list of customers available in the Customer drop-down box.
- As soon as the customer is selected, Location is automatically loaded.
- Click on the Search button to retrieve all the fillup orders available for the selected customer.
- Select a delivery date. It must be today's date or a future one. say 25/1/2012.
- Check the check box against product, that has to be processed.
- Enter the Fillup Quantity (1500).
- Click on the From Storage Bin field, to select a warehouse from a pop up that appears.
- A warehouse is displayed in the pop-up only if the stock for the product exists.
- Click on the Process button to complete the process.
- On successful completion of the process a success message with the document number is displayed.
Consignment Issue

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Issue
- Choose Organisation,Customer and Customer location.
- Select Price list version and Tax category and other Customer details.
- Fill Product ,Product quantity and Tax details.
- Confirm and click process to proceed.
Advantages
- Payment term,Payment method,Sales representative auto fetched based on Customer.
- A different address can be chosen for Invoice using "Invoice to address" option.
- Product pre-filtered based on stock availability of customer consignment warehouse.
- Warehouse quantity auto-filled based on product selection.
- Validated issue quantity against stocked quantity.
- Price auto-filled based on price list version.
- Tax calculated based on Tax category.It includes multilevel tax.
- Unit gross price(unit net price+unit tax price) available.
- Products added in grid gave flexibility to add and delete.

In the Consignment Issue tab,

- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) for whom the products are to be issued.
- Location is automatically loaded for the customer selected.
- All other consignment issue details such as payment terms and payment methods are loaded based on the customer.
- In the product selector, the products that had been processed from the consignment fillup delivery tab are only displayed.
- select the product (Super White Detergent Powder).
- Based on the product selected, the fields in the Add Product Field group are auto-loaded.
- Enter the quantity of goods, that are ready to be issued for the customer. say, 1200.
- Click on the Add button.
- This process can be repeated for multiple products that are to be issued.
- Click the check box against the product (Super White Detergent Powder) , for it to be processed.
- Click on the Process button to issue the products.
- On completion of the process, a success message is displayed on the screen.
Consignment Return

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Return
- Choose Organisation,Customer and Customer location.
- If needed,use Date and Document no to filter records.
- Select any existing Consignment Issue record
- Fill returned quantity and return date.
- Confirm and click process to proceed.
Advantages
- Return against sales,provides user flexibility to interlink and consume time to process.
- Returned Quantity shown and validated against current return quantity.
- It's not possible to return a product without any existing sales.
Example

In the Consignment Return tab,
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the list of customers available from the Customer drop down box.
- Click on the search button, to display the all the products issued to the 'Spencers Daily' customer based on Consignment Issue.
- Click on the check box against the products, that needs to be returned.
- Now, click on the record containing 'Super White Detergent Powder' and enter the number of products returned in the Return Quantity field (120).
- Enter a valid return date, greater than the issue date say (26/1/2012).
- Click on the Process button.
- After the product has been successfully returned, a success message is displayed.
- Also the returned quantity changes correspondingly. Initially the return quantity is 1200. It changes to 1080 as soon as the process completes, limiting the number of products that can be returned to 1080.
Consignment Pick-up
Consignment Pick-up consists of two process,
- Consignment Pick-up Order
- Consignment Pick-up Delivery
Consignment Pick-up Order

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Pickup -> Consignment Pickup Order
- Enter a new record and fill details of Organisation,Order Date,Customer and Customer address.
- If needed,add more information of Sales Representative,Description
- In lines section,add product and quantity.
- Verify record and click Book to confirm order.
Advantages
- Product shown based on availability of customer consignment Warehouse.
- Pickup Stock validated against available stock in customer consignment Warehouse.

Navigate to the Consignment Pickup Order tab,
- Create a new record by clicking the create new form icon.
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the list of customers in the Customer drop-down box.
- Enter the date of returning say (25/1/2012).
- Save the record.
- Click on lines tab and create a new record.
- Select the product (Super White Detergent Powder )to be returned from the list of products that are issued.
- Save the record.
- Navigate to the header and click on Book button to raise consignment pickup order.
- On successful completion of the process a success message is displayed and the Book button changes to Reactivate.
Consignment Pick-up Delivery

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Pickup -> Consignment Pickup Delivery.
- Make sure any pickup order is exist by of searching based on Organisation,Customer,Location.
- If needed,use Date and Document no to filter records.
- Verify order and fill pickup date and pick quantity based on available space in Warehouse.
- Confirm and click process to proceed.
Advantages
- It's possible to consolidate more than one pick-up order.
- Pick-up delivery quantity validated based on Pick-up order.
- More than one pick-up delivery is possible against Pick-up order.
Example

Navigate to Consignment Pickup Delivery Tab,
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the list of customers available.
- Click on the Search button ,to display all the pickup orders created for that particular customer.
- List of products that are marked for pick up in the Consignment Pickup Order are displayed here.
- Click on the check box against that contains 'Super White Detergent Product' product from the document number 'KPO1000003' that is to be processed.
- Enter the number of products that are to be taken back in the Pickup Qty. say 210 units of Super White Detergent cakes.
- Select the warehouse (Detergent Stockist), where the products are to be moved in the to Storage Bin (TSB).
- Click on the process button.
- After successful completion of the process, A success message is displayed along with the movement header number.
Consignment Loss
Consignment Stock Update

- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Transactions -> Consignment Stock Update -> Consignment Stock Update.
- Select the Customer and Customer Location.
- Upload the Excel File.
- Enter the Date.
- Confirm and Click Process to Proceed.
Advantages
- Keeps track of the Consignment lost under circumstances such as theft or when consignment is lost.
- Stock updates can be done for more than one product for a Customer.

- Navigate to the stock update window.
- Select the customer (Spencers Daily) from the list of available customers.
- Customer Location loads automatically based on the selected Customer.
- Next step is to upload the excel file, containing the product details.
- Click on the browse button, to open the file browser window. Select the productExcel.xls file.
- Enter the Date as 16-2-2012.
- Click on the Process button to process the Excel File. On Successful Completion of the process, a message is displayed.
Consignment Physical Inventory
Please refer to the Physical Inventory for more information about Physical Inventory.

Navigate to this window to view the updated consignment quantites.
- Go to Consignment Sales Management -> Analysis Tools -> Consignment Physical Inventory.
- Recently created record, shows the quantity processed on the account of last stock update.
Advantages
- This physical inventory is exclusively for consignment goods only.
Example

- Navigate to the consignment physical inventory tab.
- Select the record last created.
- Header contains the details, such as customer(Spencers Daily) , customer location.
- The date when the stock was updated, here (06-02-2012).
- Name of the Warehouse (Consignment Warehouse), to where it was moved.
- Lines show the list of products and respective updated quantities.
- 5 units of Super White Detergent Powder was added to the 'Spencers Chennai' storage bin.
- The records are read-only and processed.
